Job Description:
Independent Writer/Director seeks intern to help establish a new company in Los Angeles.
You would be my right hand person in doing such things as: filing for an LLC, helping to maintain my website and all associated media, and helping with specific projects that need completion to be ready for public consumption and/or monetization for the upcoming fall Film Festivals (this would require some knowledge of post-production and distribution, or, your willingness to research and find out how to do it DIY). I am also in the midst of developing 2 web series concepts with talent that has pre-established fan bases (google: Mark Zupan, paralympic athlete, and Demshitz, team of professional whitewater kayakers). Both parties have solid web series ideas and a high potential to go to market and have trusted me to come up with a vision for their brands. I will need your help in everything from creating & editing the pitch materials to helping schedule days effectively. This internship will expose you to the ins and outs of trying to make it as an emerging independent filmmaker. If you want to be a director or producer, and you want to know what youre going to face after you graduate (and how to face it the best way), then this internship is for you.

Responsibilities:
I will give you weekly or bi-weekly projects to work on. I will expect you to go off on your own and report back when you have updates, information, or questions. You will be expected to hit the deadlines we set, no exceptions. We can work together 5-10 hours per week at my home office, or somewhere convenient. The rest of the time is yours, but I will expect daily or every other day email reports. You will be responsible for keeping us organized and on task, and helping to complete assets for all current projects in motion. Your job is to help me start and finish things.
