The program began in during the 80’s when the country was struggling through a civil war. The founder lived in the country during this time. While there he helped to organize a group of young people in San Salvador to make items for sale in the United States. Since that time we have worked with 30 different artisans groups and have marketed their products in El Salvador, United States, Canada and even Europe!
