they are weird – which means they’re authentic. they are fresh. they are strong-minded, hard-working individuals who go after what they want and they understand sacrifice. they love the “rosie the riveter” poster because damn it, women can do it. they grew up watching lisa left-eye lopes jam out with her girls using a condom as an eye patch and gwen stefani kick ass as the ska punk princess of an all-male band. they represent the small sliver of ladies apart of our generation who aren’t completely swayed by pop culture, high fashion and celebrity bullshit, but they understand its place in society. they genuinely care about the green movement, not because it’s trendy. they understand that continued life on this planet depends on it.
