The FAA’s Office of Aviation Policy and Plans develops policies, goals and priorities, forecasts future aviation technology and demand and analyzes the economic impact of regulations for the FAA. Also, APO coordinates the agency’s reauthorization of its programs and financing before Congress, and is responsible for national aviation policies and strategies. These responsibilities involve economic analyses, research, and aviation stakeholder outreach.
