The Parks & Recreation Department is responsible for providing Clearwater residents the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of of enjoyable recreation activities.

We strive to give each student what they desire in on the job experience, while assisting each student in satisfying all the conditions set forth by the placing school. Our internships are structured around the individual goals of each student, and can be comprised of any one or more of the exposures mentioned below.

Recreation Programming, Athletics, Wildlife Conservation (Moccasin Lake Nature Park), Parks & Beautification, Events & Festivals, Cultural Affairs, Administration & Planning, Bicycle & Pedestrian Planning (Urban Planning),
Office On Aging (Gerontology), and
Projects & Planning (Construction, Landscape Architecture).
