The Tenth Amendment Media Group is proud to offer internships to interested individuals seeking to gain relevant work experiences in various fields of study. Unlike your typical internship, the Tenth Amendment Media Group is going to be hands on---rather than stepping and fetching. You are going to have experiences to build your portfolio and enhance your resume. More importantly, you are going to have fun. We do expect a 10 to 15 hour weekly commitment (this can also be done during nights and weekends with opportunities for telecommuting).
Please be advised, all internship positions are unpaid unless you are in sales where you will receive commissions for ads sold. As we are training you to be a professional broadcaster or journalist, you will be treated as such. Therefore, we expect the same commitment to our program as you would give your employer and your classes. You are expected to engage in time management as having tests to study for or a heavy homework load will not be an excuse for missing your deadlines. The newsroom does not sleep nor rest. We do not advise taking a heavy course load or working multiple jobs while interning.
