CAIR-Chicago is an Illinois registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization located in the heart of Chicagos Loop, , is the main office for Illinois that immediately serves approximately 500,000 Muslims and 9.8 million people living in the third largest U.S. metropolitan area that extends into the neighboring states of Indian and Wisconsin. Our focus spans five areas: civil rights, media, community outreach, civic engagement, and research.

Internships at CAIR-Chicago offer students a great opportunity to learn, interact, and grow in a friendly and diverse environment. Our program is career-oriented and based in grassroots activism. Connected with over 200 colleges and networks, weve hosted international students and fellowships, such as the renowned PILI program for graduating law students.

All students—full-time or part-time, undergraduate or graduate, all majors, and even high school upperclassmen—can apply throughout the year. Interns can earn academic credit or community service hours, or simply enrich their experience and insight to advocacy and civil rights efforts.
