Styleta is a nonprofit organization that collects donations of high-end clothing and accessories, and sells these donations online to a fashion-conscious membership base. The net proceeds of these sales will then benefit charities that focus on women’s initiatives. We aim to utilize fashion and online buying groups as a new and innovative method of obtaining financial capital for charitable organizations.Styleta’s mission is to do social good first by reducing discarded clothing waste and second by fully capturing the market value of designer clothing donations, while simultaneously allowing individuals to purchase high-end fashion at a deeply discounted price. This allows individuals and companies to easily participate in philanthropy via donations or purchases, and it builds a sustainable charitable base to support innovative nonprofit partners.
