Qwiki is a SoHo, New York-based technology company pioneering a new media format. First, we turned information into an experience with the release of www.Qwiki.com and the Qwiki iPad App, turning millions of popular topics into interactive, information experiences. Now, we are releasing a publishing platform that will enable anyone to easily create a Qwiki. A “Qwiki” combines pictures, videos, info-graphics and the user’s own voice into a beautiful, interactive presentation describing anything.
Qwiki has raised approximately $11MM in funding from a number of believers, including the founders of Facebook (Eduardo Saverin), Groupon and YouTube.

Apple named the Qwiki iPad App the 2011 iPad App of the year in the Reference category, with ~1 million downloads Won TechCrunch Disrupt (San Francisco 2010) startup competition, the premier startup contest in the nation
The New York Times called Qwiki “…a seed that will blossom into another Internet wonder.”
