Located in southeastern Pennsylvania near Valley Forge Park, the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove (JJAC) serves people of all ages and abilities by providing premier art and environmental experiences. From 1803 to 1806 Mill Grove, a National Historic Landmark, served as the first home in America of artist and naturalist John James Audubon.Today, the Center exhibits and interprets a large collection of Audubon’s art, including his highly celebrated Birds of America – 435 life-sized images of birds. An educational center of the National Audubon Society, JJAC is also dedicated to connecting people with the natural world by encouraging guests to explorethe 175-acre estate nestled along the Perkiomen Creek.
