In 2009, Franklin Center expanded its population of focus to include all of Beaver County. The awarding of two county-wide programs, the Homeless Assistance and Outreach & Referral Program at the end of 2008 and the Family, Youth, and Cultural and Linguistic Competency Component at the end of 2009 expanded the organization’s reach and the population it serves. A new countywide Fatherhood and Healthy Families component was also added in late 2009.

Using traditional long standing partnerships, and new, innovative collaborations, FCBC is helping to improve educational and human services for families throughout Beaver County.

Our mission in this regard is “to ensure the delivery of human services and supplemental educational opportunities for the residents of Beaver County”

To achieve this mission, FCBC coordinates a complement of human services to address social issues throughout Beaver County. These human services, coupled with educational support to school systems, all are located under the covering of one organization. FCBC provides youth development and educational programs in conjunction with the local school districts, other non-profit organizations, and local institutions of higher education.
