Skyline Literacy provides literacy tutoring and instruction to adults in the Central Shenandoah Valley. Our tutors work one-on-one with individuals who are trying to improve reading and writing skills or pass their GED test. We also provide English language instruction to non-native speakers in one-one-one and small group settings. In addition to literacy instruction, Skyline offers classes to help eligible residents prepare for the U.S. naturalization test and interview. Skyline Literacy is the only nonprofit literacy agency in the Harrisonburg/Rockingham County area to provide customized programs for adults, helping them improve employment and other educational opportunities.
