Dramatic Need is a UK registered charity, which uses the creative arts to develop communication skills, self-confidence, artistic ability, visual literacy and to foster skills in conflict resolution in underprivileged African communities. The charity sends creative industry professionals (actors, artists, musicians) to host workshops in schools and AIDS hospices for 2-8 week periods culminating in a performance/exhibition of the childrens work for the local community.
