Description:

The Promotions Team representative reports to the Marketing Coordinator. The incumbent is responsible for promotions and event planning throughout their specified term of employment.
Hours of employment will be flexible depending on the time of year and promotions initiatives occurring. However, Encore Pageants Promotions Team members will have one scheduled office hour per week. The expected number of hours will vary throughout the term, with an average of 2-4 hours per week. Day, evening and weekend hours may be required.
The candidate must be able to think strategically, but be willing and able to roll up their sleeves to help implement the programs and promotions

Special Knowledge or Skills:
• Responsible for event postings and displays in approved business including bulletin boards, posters and other signage.
• Consult on promotional materials including posters and handbills.
• Work as part of a team to create a comprehensive social media strategy to define programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility and traffic to Encore Pageants.
• Provide accurate information on the UW Residences, including services, policies, processes, procedures etc.
• Execute promotions to engage current and prospective candidates.
• Attend meetings as requested by the Marketing Coordinator.
• Assist with the planning and promotion of Encore Pageants Events.
• Excellent interpersonal and engagement skills.
• Self-motivator, possess excellent judgement, a strong commitment to customer service and ability to problem-solve as required.
