Description:

Planet Smoothie Interns in Raleigh, Tampa and Atlanta will gain a comprehensive understanding of franchising and local store marketing through guidance by a marketing mentor and franchisee. Responsibilities will include:
• Researching, planning and executing local events and promotions
• Building and maintaining relationships with catering customers and fundraising partners
• Developing social media calendars and content to engage customers and encourage frequency
• Reporting on competitive promotions and industry trends
• Assisting with grand opening marketing activities
• Presenting key learnings to Planet Smoothie Corporate marketing team at the conclusion of the internship

Qualifications:

Junior- or Senior level marketing or communications major currently enrolled at 4-year college or university.
• Available 15-20 hours per week, mostly 9am – 5pm, Monday through Friday. Special events may require afternoon and weekend availability.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a group.
• Efficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Advanced knowledge of social media, including Facebook and Twitter.
• Access to cell phone and the Internet.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
