* Assist in writing press releases, pitch letters and other creative outreach to media
* Media release distribution and follow-up
* Internet research
* Serving as source for follow up by phone on editorial commitments and fact-checking; confirming appointment for meetings.
* Client survey and ROI summaries
* Press kit compilation
* Source reporter databases via CISION, Bacon’s Mediasource, Profnet and GiftListMedia
* Pitch packages compilation
* Tracking clippings
Qualifications:
Job Qualifications:
* College student studying marketing, public relations, or another related communications field
Will have goals to achieve for credit as per your professor and curriculum counselor
* Must provide relevant references upon request
* Preferably available 20-30 hours/week, but hours are negotiable
