Responsibilities:
SESAME STREET, the award winning television program produced by Sesame Workshop, is seeking interns for its 34th production season. Internships would begin in January and run through April. Areas where interns are needed include:General Production: Duties include guest relations, administrative support in the production office attending production meetings, researching show information, screening videotapes, handling viewer inquiries and special projects.
Skills Needed: MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE (preferably Microsoft Word/Windows), organized and professional in manner. Must have familiarity with a professional office environment. Television or Film Majors and/or Graduates preferred. Must live within commuting distance of New York.

Child Talent Casting: Duties include assisting the Child Talent Coordinator with administrative work, rehearsing lines and music with talent and various special projects.Skills Needed: MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE (preferably in Microsoft Word/Windows), organized and professional in manner. Television, Film Production, Elementary Education Majors, Graduates, or related field preferred. Must live within commuting distance of New York.

Script Department: Duties include proofreading and distributing scripts, photocopying, typing, and assisting the Script PA.Skills Needed: MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE (preferably in Microsoft Word/Windows), organized and professional in manner. Majors or Graduates in Television, Screenwriting, English or related field preferred. Typing skills a MUST. Must live within commuting distance of New York.

Post Production: Duties include assisting the Post Production Coordinator and PA with administrative needs, acting as a liaison between the edit facility ,office and studio organizing the tape library and coordinating post-production services.Skills Needed: MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE (preferably in Microsoft Word/Windows) and have interest with various editing processes, video production terminology and videotape formats. Knowledge of editing and post-production helpful. Must live within commuting distance of New York.

Music Department: Duties include providing administrative assistance to the Music Director and Music Assistants, helping organize the music library, responding to inquiries and screening audio tape submissions.Skills Needed: MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE (preferably in Microsoft Word/Windows), Majors and Graduates in music related fields are preferred. Candidates must be familiar with basic music terminology.
