Associate Manager at Business Tribes - Chapel Hill, NC

You will lead a team in Business Tribes consulting projects. You will supervise associate interns in identifying and meeting with potential clients, executing consulting projects, writing reports and blog posts. You will manage Intern Associates, assign roles and responsibilities, set targets and take responsibility for final outcomes. You will be supported and coached by the Business Tribes executive team.

You will earn valuable leadership and marketing experience, a full training program with additional individualized coaching. You will build a global network. You will be compensated based on commissions and team benchmarks.

Flexibility

Associate Managers dedicate twenty five hours or more a week to the project, more for larger projects. The goal is not to “punch a clock” but to give you an idea of the commitment. At Business Tribes there are no hours to log or time sheets to fill out. As the team leader, you will work with the associate interns to set schedules and targets. Associate Manages balance work, academic studies, family and extracurricular activities in a healthy way. Applicants seeking a lighter responsibility should consider the Associate Intern position.

Qualifications:

Most associate Interns have at least two years of university studies and work experience in business development, sales or marketing. Many associate interns have significantly more university studies and business experience.

Motivation: Write a 125 to 150 word paragraph about your motivation and qualifications for becoming an Associate Manager. This provides us with an idea of who you are, your interests, and what you want to accomplish. Please include previous management and leadership experience.

Article: Write a 225 to 275 word article about an inspiring business that uses the themes create, cause or connect. The article can be about any industry or sector. This exercise will help you become familiar with the core themes of Business Tribes and give us an idea of your written communication skills. Include a 25-45 word biography about yourself: name, business experience, interests, city and education. A select few posts may be published. Consulting Project: Create a Power Point Presentation about a consulting project that you would like to initiate and lead for Business Tribes. How will the project add value to the client and to Business Tribes? What resources do you need and how will the project be executed? High quality applicants will be asked to present the Power Point in 5-7 minutes to an executive team.
