POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Management Support Intern will support marketing and proposal writing efforts. This hands-on, multi-faceted internship will allow an individual to see all stages of proposal writing, from finding requirements to assembling the proposal alongside the project manager.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates should have a strong interest in learning about project management and proposal writing. He/she needs to have excellent writing skills, a working knowledge of all MS Office programs, and experience doing research on the internet. This individual will need to be detail oriented, self motivated, and organized. He/she will work independently and report back to the project managers on assigned tasks. He/she must be able to work in a proactive, ever-changing work environment.

Some of the tasks will include:
•searching for project opportunities using specific procurement websites
•marketing support for project manager
•rewriting sections of RFPs or proposals
•assisting with proposal assembly and shipping
•aiding project managers in daily tasks

Two days a week - starting immediately through the summer

Qualifications:

1.Must be a US Citizen
2.Must be Junior, Senior, or recent College grad
3.Must have excellent writing skills
4.Must have good oral and written communication skills
5.Must have knowledge of MS Office
