Cognito, a leading Financial and Technology PR agency, is looking for an enthusiastic, well organized intern. Depending on the hours available a small stipend may be offered of $250 for the month or for college credit exclusively.

Job description

This position is ideal for a candidate looking for real, hand-on public relations experience. This intern will support account staff on daily PR activities, including pitch letters, press releases, and brainstorming creative ways to promote clients to the press. The intern will also attend meetings, and be encouraged to join the firm in networking and entertaining events. In addition, the intern will help manage company databases, conduct research, and compile press clippings. This is a rare opportunity to get invaluable work experience in a fast-paced but fun environment.

Requirements:

Cognito is looking for an ambitious graduate or undergraduate with a major is in Communications, PR or journalism. This person should be punctual, professional, resourceful and takes initiative. An interest in the financial services and/or capital markets is crucial.

We are looking for someone within the metro area who is available now for 10 weeks. This is not for a summer internship but to begin as soon as possible.
