Non Profit Mental Health Intern
Description:
CPNYC Mental Health Team is seeking an individual who is obtaining their Masters or bachelors degree in Social Work from an accredited institution of higher learning or a Masters in Mental Health Counseling.Responsibilities Include:
•Provide individual and group counseling with children ages 6-16 years old.
•Assist families with necessary referrals.
•Provide appropriate assessments, crisis interventions with the students, and document all necessary progress notes and behavioral plans implemented with the students and families.
•Attend weekly multidisciplinary meetings
•Internship is unpaid. CPNYC will assist individuals with fulfilling college internship requirements.
