Description:

We are currently upgrading our website and migrating content to an easier to manage WordPress system. This is a unique opportunity to help a great cause increase its online presence and, eventually, fundraising, programmatic and community outreach.

We have an immediate need for one or more interns to help us with:
• Editing travelogues, tagging them, pasting in Google maps and/or pictures, as well as Google Adsense links (training provided)
• Increasing our social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest by researching and sharing travel related stories, tips, blogs and pictures
• Assisting with improving the Wordpress design, look and feel
• Planning and assisting with the monthly Newsletter

Workload:
• Work from home on your own computer
• Flexible hours but would prefer someone who could consistently do 5-10 hours a week.
• There will be weekly goals and reporting out, and monthly meetings to track progress and plan upcoming projects

Qualifications:

Required skills:
• Above average writing and editing skills
• Detail oriented
• Interested in international travel
• General interest and curiosity in website management
• Previous experience with websites and social media preferred
• Experience with WordPress a plus
• Experience with fundraising and outreach a plus
