Internship Description: Expand the company’s reach in the association/nonprofit management market. Take a look at our image and make branding recommendations. Assist in identifying and creating online resources that will establish Accrete Group as an industry expert. Conduct market research that will include but is not limited to identifying potential clients, identifying appropriate places to advertise and the costs associated with those places, identifying organizations where Accrete Group can submit editorial content, identifying blogs where Accrete staff can be guest contributors, and identifying social media groups where Accrete should have a presence. This is an opportunity for creative and business-minded interns to make a difference for a young, developing company that services associations, nonprofits, and societies. Work independently from your location while staying in close contact with the principal and key staff.

Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate: Organized, detail-oriented, and an innovative way of managing various business processes. Please have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfort and proficiency with technology like e-mail, the Internet, MS Office, and have the willingness to learn user-friendly software. Must have good research skills, be familiar with blogs and other social media sites, and must be experienced in business development. Able to multi-task and work independently. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to attend phone meetings a few times a week to conduct interviews and meet with staff. Being adaptable to changes in projects and priorities as required.

Everything you create (that is not confidential) will be available to you for your professional portfolio and Accrete will help you arrange for academic credit if necessary.

Location: This is a virtual internship. All meetings will be held by phone or Skype.

Timeline: Approximately 10 hours a week for 15 weeks is standard. Exceptions can be made for extenuating situations.

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, but the experience and contacts are potentially life-long.
