Description:

Evyn Block Communications is seeking a creative, motivated and hard-working intern to work in our small, boutique office for the Summer. Intern will be assisting on a variety of food, fashion and lifestyle accounts. This position is for a highly organized self-starter with an interest in communications, social media and public relations. This internship will ideally be from the end of May/Early June through the end of August/Early September.

Duties include:
-Media list building and maintenance
-Social media maintenance (Twitter, Facebook etc...)
-Drafting written materials including press releases/pitches
- Media Research
- Creating press clips
- Email pitches
- Follow up phone calls
- Preparing materials for desksides

Qualifications:

Must have:
-Strong writing skills
-Excellent phone, organizational, social and computer skills
-Details oriented approach
-Ability to take on multiple tasks at the same time
-Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint as well as Google Docs
-Knowledge of CisionPoint is preferred
-Enthusiasm and strong interest in the field

$15 per day
