Company/Organization: The Hope Center at Pullen

Description:

The Hope Center at Pullen is a non-profit organization serving at-risk adults and youth through two programs. The Job Readiness program serves adults, at-risk of or currently experiencing homelessness who are able and willing to seek employment. The program provides case management to assist the participant with housing and employment needs; mental health and career counseling with our licensed Mental Health Counselor; and education support for those individuals seeking a GED or post-secondary degree from our Education Specialist.

The Center’s second program is the Foster Youth Academy. This program serves youth currently in foster care as well as those aging out of the system in Wake County. The program is designed to assist these clients in the same three areas targeted by the Job Readiness program. Case management is available to assist clients with transition plans as they move toward independent living; Mental Health counseling to address social and emotional needs; and education support to address educational concerns and goals.
