POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager (Intern) directs or assigns the daily administration of other HR services, including but not limited to recruitment and selection, promotions, transfers, contract negotiation and administration, job classification, performance evaluation, leave administration and employee relations in accordance with quality management principles and overall objectives of the Program.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education: Applicants must have completed at least 2 years of IT, computer science, web design or related field of study.
Experience: Living abroad experience preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

Excellent software programming, web development, SEO and graphics skills
Creativity and imagination
Adaptability and the ability to pick up new techniques
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Up-to-date knowledge of computer technology
Interest in and understanding of NGOs
Capacity to work with limited resources and basic technology
Ability to find cheap and effective solutions to IT problems
Patience and high tolerance level
Ability to work in a team environment
Willingness to receive feedback
Thorough reporting skills
Effective time management skills
English
Cultural and self-awareness
Best: First expertise and experiences (familiarity) with Indian culture

Hours:

37.5h p/week

Length/Availability:

3-12 months (flexible start/finish times)

You don’t need necessarly to have years of experience to become an InGlobed Intern or Volunteer but you will need to have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and the capacity to work in a multi-cultural dynamic work place towards global awarness and global change.
As an Intern, you will live and work in an authentic rural community in India, learn or teach about global education, awareness and development, add valuable work experience to your CV and make a significant contribution to InGlobed as a meaningful global citizen.

International interns, volunteers and young leader are essential to InGlobed. Our interns, volunteers and leaders bring passion, innovation, hard work and, most importantly, their personal skills and experience.

Costs and Benefits

Real-world international work experience in a multi-cultural team

Cultural and workplace induction and training
Mentoring and support from a dedicated onsite Intern Coordinator
Accommodation (at Intern House) including bedding, utilities, internet access, hot water and kitchen facilities.
Long-term interns (12-24 months) will receive a small living stipend after 9 months service
*Please note that flights, visa costs, insurance and travel costs associated with getting from the airport to InGlobed in Himachal Pradesh are not included.

Fees:

InGlobed is self-sustaining organisation still its infancy, while we do not charge weekly or monthly fees to participate, we do ask our interns and volunteers to pay a one-off administration and legal fee prior to arrival. This fee helps the organisation to cover the costs of running an international internship and volunteer program, including local legal fees, facilities, staffing costs and recruitment. We do not make a profit from your fees nor do the fees pay for the academic programs that we offer. They simply cover the cost of hosting interns and volunteers.
