Clean the World Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that collects the bars of soap that are discarded by hotels every day and sterilizes processes and presses them into high quality new bars of soap. The recycled soap is then distributed to shelters and areas of the world that really need them. Clean the World Foundation has a mission to saves lives by preventing one million deaths each year caused by hygiene-related illnesses, and to save the planet by reducing hotel waste in local landfills.

Clean the World is currently seeking an Industrial Engineer Intern for its Orlando, FL.

Qualifications:

* Conducting time study and determine labor standards/ best methods to support labor management system

* Reviewing current operations and provide technical support, evaluation, implementation and improvement of best business practices as it relates to labor utilization, machine utilization and material flow

* Providing analysis of all related labor management results with recommendations for improvement in process, cost per unit, unit per hour, on standard performance and accountability

* Developing training documentation to support labor management system / work flow

* Developing accuracy programs in line with labor management system for all processes

* Identifying and recommending needed changes to Management Team on the standardized processes for the functional area

* Continuously evaluating and analyzing current work methods and recommends ways to eliminate inefficiencies

* Developing safety manuals and assesments

Qualifications:

* Industrial Engineering major preferred

* Must have a fluent understanding of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Project.

* Good interpersonal and written communication skills are required.

* Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
