Work as an independent researcher on a project looking at the weight loss industry. This person would be in charge of calling existing weight loss programs to find out about start up costs as well as how they attract their clients and staff.

The RA would be in charge of cold calling weight loss companies and asking them about their different start up costs, the barriers they faced when starting out and any suggestions they would have for people who are just getting started in the weight loss industry.

Once the data is collected, the RA would be in charge of doing a write up and presenting it in the weekly conversation. The RA will also be in charge of creating a budget for a potential weight loss start up.

Work can be done remotely but must be able to set up either an in-person chat, skype session or phone call once a week to check in for updates on the progress of research as well as for brainstorming sessions. This would count towards the 8-10 hour/week commitment.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who possesses the following traits:

-Experience cold calling
-Incredibly organized
-Self-motivated
-Creative with research.
-Possess interviewing skills
-This is an unpaid position
-There is a minimum of an 8-10 hour/week commitment.
-Must have a background in economics
