Job Description: At Pioneer Astronautics, we believe fuel choice is a right. No single monopoly should control the entire transportation sector. Vehicles for the last 30 years have had the ability to run multiple fuels, its our turn to unlock that ability. Were currently going through the EPA alternative fuel certification process to bring about American energy independence through local fueling solutions. What we need, is someone to help go through all the data and aide with testing.

Qualifications:

Qualifications: The selected candidate should have at least 2 years as an engineering student or several years of vehicle tuning experience. Candidate should have strong computer skills, especially using Excel spreadsheets, as that is where most work will be needed. The candidate must have proved interpersonal skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office as the majority of job will be formatting data with visual representations to allow proper engineering decisions to be made. Will summarize results for publication within company and to vendors. Excel-Visual Basic (VBA) coding experience preferred.
Ability to export data from one format to another (usually CSV based)
Automotive software tuning theory and internal combustion engine knowledge REQUIRED
Mechanically inclined
Detail oriented
Understanding of air to fuel ratio and alternative fuel options
Physics & basic chemistry experience
