SOUTH BOSTON — Teak Media + Communication, a boutique public relations agency that promotes non-profit organizations and socially responsible companies through the media, is seeking a part-time intern for the fall 2015 semester.

Interns obtain hands-on experience working directly with all members of the Teak team and participate in team meetings. Projects include writing press materials, blog posts, social media content and pitching media.

Hours are flexible. Juniors and seniors are preferred.

We are a small crew with high standards for productivity and ethics. Dress is casual, office environment is friendly, and teamwork is the norm. Unfortunately, those who cannot work in a dog-friendly environment need not apply. The dog was here first. Teak Media + Communication is located at 840 Summer Street, Suite 305A, South Boston. Qualifications:

Requirements include proficiency in writing, professional phone mannerisms, an interest in the media, a desire to learn, responsibility, and the ability to work well with moderate supervision. Basic computer skills and social media channels, are essential. Knowledge of Public Relations tech applications, including Vocus and Cision, are a bonus.
