Our Mission
TrueSpark is a nonprofit that exposes, immerses, and engages Americas youth on issues of character through watching inspiring movies and participating in interactive educational discussions and activities.

Responsibilities Include
• Learn how to identify corporate and individual donors
• Develop strategies for targeting high net worth people
• Create programs that appeal to corporate funders
• Manage our list of donors via SalesForce
• Writing/ sending Thank You notes
• Under general direction, research, prepare and provide support of grant proposals.
• Work with new and existing partners to identify grant or other funding opportunities.

Additional Information
• Office located in Santa Monica but, there is a possibility of working remotely
• While not a paid position, we are always on the look-out for new employees and have hired interns many times in the past.
• Happy to meet requirements for course-credit
• Can provide awesome reference to future employers
• Weekly schedule as well as state/ end dates are flexible. Applications are being reviewed on a rolling basis.

Qualifications:

Qualifications
• Interest and/or experience in program development, grant writing or event planning/fundraising,
• Sales or marketing interest with a general knowledge of standard fundraising techniques and special events.
• Experience public speaking, cold calling skills and no fear of rejection.
• Experience using SaleForce is desired but not required
