Role Overview:
Accolade is looking for an aspiring Instructional Designer to support the development of virtual education and administration of our Learning Management System (LMS) for the onboarding of all new Accolade team members. You will play an integral role in analyzing face-to-face training and working through the ADDIE model to make an application-based virtual training curriculum. Gain real world experience as you help our team analyze, design, develop, and implement new tools, technology, and education.

This is an exciting opportunity for qualified candidates that are looking to gain experience in the Instructional Design field. The experience you gain here can be immediately applied in any future Learning and Development positions.

Key Projects, Deliverables & Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop self-paced and virtual instructor lead materials that support experiential learning.
• Update existing courseware to support our transition to virtual education.
• Use your knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies to develop effective courseware
• Support the administration of our Learning Management System (LMS)

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
• Ability to produce high quality deliverables, on time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaborate and work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent relationship-building skills
• Experience with eLearning development tools. Accolade uses Articulate Storyline 2 to develop self-paced education. However, experience with other tools (e.g. Captivate, Camtasia, etc) is helpful.

• Effective communication (verbal and written) skills - ability to work with individuals at all levels with varied backgrounds and personalities
• Ability to multi-task, think on your feet and creatively and proactively problem-solve issues
• Organized, dependable and detail-oriented
• Ability to manage own workload and competing priorities
