Description:

HOURS REQUIRED:
At least 14 – 18 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conducting research on the phone or on-line.
• Setting up college promotions with the college media.
• Assisting the publicists in promoting upcoming motion pictures through the state level media (print, tv, radio).
• Assisting the AEs in setting up promotions – retail, club, etc.
• Mailing out informational and promotional material for promotions.
• Assisting at local premier events.
• Locally distributing promotional items at events, retail outlets, etc.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
• It is an unpaid internship.
• You must be a current college student (Junior or Senior Standing) or recent college graduate living in the South Florida area.
• You must be a management, marketing, PR, advertising, communications, film & video, or entertainment major.
• You will be required to come in at least twice a week from 10:30 am – 5:30 pm with a 1 hour lunch break.
• The office is in Ft. Lauderdale – keep the commute in mind.
• You will be required to sign up for and complete out of office projects.
• You must be proficient in Word and Excel.
• It is a semester long commitment
• Must love MOVIES and setting up events!!
