Wishbone is a fashion forward womens collegiate apparel company. We design product for over 45 colleges and universities (including Baylor, Boise State, Central Florida, Colorado State, Drake, Gonzaga, Houston, Illinois State, Indiana, Iowa State, Iowa, Kent State, Marshall, Michigan State, Mississippi State, NC State, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, SMU, TCU, UNLV, VCU, Virginia Tech, Washington State and Washington).

We are looking for 1-2 interns at your university for Fall 2012 to help build our brand on campus as well as throughout the college community.

Candidates should be proactive, outgoing and eager to gain experience in fashion marketing, PR, and event planning with a rapidly growing company. This internship will begin in Fall 2012 and will coincide with your school term in order to allow for college credit. Interns can expect to work 10 - 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities include -

Generate / maintain / strengthen relationships with university clients and store buyers

Lead on-campus marketing initiatives (ie host trunk shows / distribute game day fliers)

Utilize social media outlets to raise Wishbone awareness on campus and throughout the local community

Monitor sales and visual displays at local retail outlets / bookstores

Assist with weekly giveaway promotions

Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate -

Highly self-motivated and independent

Strong leadership skills, involved on campus through student organizations, sports / clubs or sororities

Organized / Detail Oriented / Professional Attitude

Energetic and willing to share Wishbones mission, story and product

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ideal major - Marketing, PR, Communications, Merchandising
