We are looking for highly creative, motivated and self starting interns to join our team. During your interview, you must prove to have an entrepreneurial spirit, outgoing personality, excellent communication skills and be a team player.

This internship is based in Massapequa Long Island and may require some travel into Manhattan for events. We are looking for individuals with an interest in one or more of the following:
- Event Planning
- Event Marketing
- Association Management
- Public Relations

You will assist with administrative work as well as the execution of various events. An internship with Penta provides a great opportunity to work with professional clients and learn every aspect of event planning, marketing, sales, and philanthropy work.

Some Responsibilities Include:
- Working on the company’s annual charity golf outing
o Assisting with the creation of marketing materials
o Securing product sponsors
o Securing donations for the raffle, auction and player bags
o Pitching the event to prospective golfers and hole sponsors
o Brainstorming ideas and new concepts for the event
- Researching venues and suppliers
- Writing and sending out press releases
- Writing blogs for the Penta website
- Assisting at events and attending events
- Participating in client pitches
- Creating event concepts
- Cold calling
- Managing the company’s social networking sites
o Facebook
o Twitter
- Administrative Tasks
o Answering telephone calls
o Handling incoming mail
o Processing accounts receivable for deposit

Qualifications:
