Scotta is seeking a Blogger Intern. The gent or lady lucky enough to snag this internship will get an in depth look at social networking and blogging for a fashion eCommerce destination while learning things that will help them to further their careers.

What You’ll Be Doing: Putting your social media savvy to good use, you’ll spend your days blogging, immersed in our social networks, engaging in client conversations and keeping an eye on the blog landscape. You might be scoping out products, brands, designers, or celebrities and recommending those that deserve a shout-out, or you may be working with our Style Director at photo shoots or events. Some of the work for this internship can be completed via telecommute.

Responsibilities:

Help monitor and maintain our blog.
Use research to suggest ways to optimize our social media efforts.
Identify brand advocates and influencers to partner with on the blog.
Provide ideas to increase overall awareness/engagement on the blog.
Seek out untapped niche communities the Scotta Woman is a part of and pinpoint influencers to engage with.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled at an undergraduate or graduate institution.
Understanding of and undying interest in social media and online marketing.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Creative and analytical mindsets.
Willingness to learn and the ability to do research.
Possess writing, leadership, and organizational skills.
Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
Detail-oriented.

Preferred Requirement:

Pursuing a degree in public relations, journalism, communications, or related field. Passion for fashion is a plus.
