Description:

Discovery Channel and TLC’s Los Angeles office is seeking publicity interns for Fall 2012. Interns will have the opportunity to compile and search for press mentions/articles, maintain and build media lists, work events, assist with local market outreach, complete competitive research as well as provide other support for the communications group. This is an opportunity to learn all aspects of the industry and gain exposure to the inner-workings of Discovery Channel and TLC.

Qualifications:

Requirements:
- Eligible to receive school credit
- College Junior or Senior
- At least one prior internship

Preferred:
- At least one prior internship in entertainment or publicity
- Available two or three full days a week, 9:30am – 4:30pm
