Description:

Focus: The two successful candidates will each take on the role of Project Manager in our real estate division. They will learn the Spanish real estate market from top to bottom and will take on the crucial role of liaising with our clients, satisfying their needs, providing excellent service, and renting as many properties as possible. Real estate is SuiteLife’s primary business and by the end of the placement, each of the two Project Managers will have become an expert with tremendous experience under their belts.

Important: This is not a regular internship. Successful applicants will be treated as part of our team. Their ideas will be listened to and they will be encouraged to pursue their individual passions in order to help the company as a whole. They will not be required to deliver coffee, make tea, or engage in other mindless activities that are common practice in large companies. Applicants will learn new things each day in this mutually beneficial relationship.

Daily Tasks:
• Taking phone calls from clients.
• Liaising with clients to visit flats (lots of fun as you will often be out and about in the beautiful city of Barcelona).
• Dealing with clients from first contact all the way to signing of contracts (you will learn how to effectively promote and sell flats, how negotiations work, how to close a deal, proper correspondence, etc…).
• Updating our leads database to organize incoming client requests and making sure that the conversion ratio grows as much as possible.
• Communication with new and existing property owners (learning how to build strong relationships with them, staying in touch to effectively update our data base, helping to develop a new communications strategy, etc…).
• Looking for new avenues of securing new flats & collaborations with other agencies and institutions.
• Much much more… Each of our past Interns has developed tremendous experience and knowledge of our company and industry, and has become a crucial part of the SuiteLife Team.
• Must have access to a laptop computer.

Qualifications:

Desired Qualifications:
• Fluent English and/or Spanish (1 Project Manager position will require perfect English and the other will require perfect Spanish).
• Strong interpersonal and people skills.
• Hardworking, creative, ambitious, and slightly aggressive/self-confident manner.
• Marketing minded (especially an affection for online marketing)/ Internet affection (interested in online marketing).
• Eager to be involved in a small but rapidly growing company where the team comes first.
• Past experience in real estate a big +.

This internship is not paid ‘monetarily’, but you will receive tremendous value and experience because of the following:

Time Requirements:
Working hours: 10 am – 7 pm, Monday to Friday
Preferred internship length is 6 – 12 months starting as early as mid August - early September, 2010
