Data Entry
• Initiate or respond to telephone calls from volunteer leaders and association members.
• Data entry into various databases including Excel, Access and web based software.
• Communication via email or telephone with event venues, salespeople, and other special event personnel.
• Onsite support for special events (if schedule allows).
• Assistance with projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Prior work experience is required though professional business experience is not. Because this position requires work with the public, it is important that all applicants possess the following qualities:• High Work Ethic. As a small business, it is important that every member of our team have high work ethic and the ability to work independently with guidance.
• Positive Attitude. In the nonprofit world, fluidity and flexibility are critical to ensuring good relationships.
• Organization. Attention to detail and the ability to provide careful notes on the status of a project are immensely important in this position.
• Education. All applicants should have completed a minimum of five full-time semesters.
• Reliability. As part of a team environment, punctuality and reliable transportation are critical.
