We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team and contribute immediately!The Volunteer Engagement and Social Media Marketing Intern will work in conjunction with the VP of Marketing, to increase Increase membership; enhance our members experience; enhance our website; help members highlight thier business and projects; develop new products and services based on Voice of our Members; as well as attend various events and trade shows. GreenHippoHut focuses on collaboration and education of Green Building and Sustainability Design and Construction Professionals; Industry educators, students in these disciplines, and, suppliers. The Volunteer Engagement and Marketing internship will give an individual the opportunity to connect people within the industry, develop relationships and build a broad overview of the Green Building and Sustainability industry.

We do not at this time have stipends available. Students arrange to receive school credit by contacting a professor to sponsor them in a department suitable to the internship. An agreement is arranged between the student, professor, and GreenHippoHut as to what the internship will consist of. This may include a certain number of hours, a task or set of tasks, a journal and/or a paper to be written, or completion of a finished product, and a schedule of meetings with the GreenHippoHut person whos directing your internship. Generally 1 credit hour = 45 hours, 2=90, 3 = 135. Internships can be somewhat tailored to your situation.

GreenHippoHut is a startup company so this Internship position may lead to a full-time paid position.

Qualifications:

Must be active on social networks and experience with Google+, Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn social media and developing CTAs (Call to Action) to drive new users and content to the site. Experience using Google Hangouts Prefer someone with some Construction and/or Design Experience so they can relate to our customer base MUST HAVE RELIABLE INTERNET CONNECTION MUST HAVE PORTABLE LAPTOP TO COLLABORATE
