Marketing Intern
Description:
Serendipit Consulting, a boutique lifestyle PR and marketing company, is looking for hardworking, talented interns who want to gain valuable industry experience. No coffee runs, faxing or errands here – The main function of the PR/Marketing Intern is to support the public relations and marketing team with a variety of tasks. Primary duties include:* Perform extensive research
* Monitor local, regional and national media
* Assemble media kits
* Determine values for media placements
* Attend and help manage client events
*Create and monitor social media content for clients
*Research reports for current and new business
*Manage multiple social media accounts on a variety of social media networks
*Drafts blog posts and copy
*Assist coordinators and partners with tasks
Qualifications:
*Must have working knowledge of social media outlets, including – Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and WordPress.
*Excellent written and verbal skills
*Must have Microsoft Office experience
*Must be able to work approximately 15 hours/week (we were students once – we’ll work around your classes to create a schedule that works!)
