Monkey Do Events, LLC is a Chandler, AZ based company specializing in the Special Events, Sports and Entertainment Industries. We create multi-location events on a National Scale, such as the Neon Splash Dash (www.neonsplashdash.com). We are looking to hire at least one individual for an Internship position, with the potential to be hired Full Time in the future. This is an incredible opportunity for anyone who has interests in entering the Special Events Industry. Our casual and upbeat environment will never leave you bored as there is always something new to be done on a daily basis! We are seeking highly motivated, self-starting interns to assist 12-20 hours per week with the planning of multiple national events in 2013. The Events Intern will directly support staff and gain valuable skills while assisting with communications/public relations, event planning, corporate research and volunteer outreach. This unpaid internship can provide school credit, portfolio building experience, a flexible schedule and valuable experience in the event planning sector.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or be a recent graduate. Be proficient in computer skills & applications, and social networking. Have great communication skills and an ability to interact with customers, vendors, sponsors, etc. effectively. Be able to work during the day/week, as well as odd hours/weekends for events.
