Description:

The Korean Cultural Center Washington DC at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as a full time paid office receptionist intern and assist with office management, cultural event projects, and research.

Terms:
(1) Candidates should be able to start in January and be prepared to devote at least 6 full months
(2) Hours: Mon-Fri, 9 am - 5:30 pm (lunch: 12:00 - 1:30pm). Occasional overtime hours will be required.
(3) Compensation: This is a paid internship at the rate of $1600/month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support office management, communication tasks, cultural events, ongoing programs, and promotion efforts
- Administrative assistance, and culture related research
- Manage SNS accounts (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr)

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- Fluency in Korean and English is strongly preferred, but the position is open to speakers of either language.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products and preferably the Hangul word processor program.
- Legal status to work as an intern in the United States (i.e. holders of F-1, J-1 visas or OPT). Please note the Korean Cultural Center does not sponsor work permits or visas.
