Description
EMARC is currently seeking a Graphic Artist & Social Media Intern in our Wakefield, MA office starting in late August going through early November (dates can be agreed upon). The Graphic Artist & Social Media Intern would assist the Director of Development. The Graphic Artist & Social Media Intern is responsible for overseeing the agency’s marketing materials and graphics. This is a voluntary position and is unpaid.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in developing marketing and ancillary materials agency-wide.
• Create graphics for EMARC’s two major fundraisers 5k & Annual Gala.
• Write, produce and edit all promotional materials.
• Use computer software to execute designs.
• Brainstorming and mocking design ideas.
• Design and create graphics for EMARC; specifically EMARC’s 5k & Gala
• Update & create all social media posts such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, etc.
• Oversee and create EMARC’s branding efforts.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:
• The ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and stay highly organized to ensure timely and accurate work.
• Strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.
• College student earning Associates or Bachelor’s degree.
• Preferred majors, but not required: Graphic Design, Digital Media, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations.
