Dr. Beths Compassionate Parenting (DBCP) is seeking summer Web Design, Graphic Design, and Marketing Intern. These are unpaid summer internships that provide the opportunity to apply your brilliance as a Web Designer and/or Graphic Designer in re-designing and optimizing our current website.

We are also seeking an innovative Marketing Intern to help write the copy for the website. All Interns will work together offering the opportunity to learn from each other. Both will work under the direct supervision of an IT/Marketing expert to help expand your current knowledge base.

AREAS OF FOCUS/ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: Assist in the development and execution of the new DBCP Website launch and marketing campaign for Dr. Beth and DBCP products. Components of the marketing campaign will include newsletters, eBlasts, and additional marketing collateral. Candidates should have interests in entertainment, new media, internet, international relations.

EDUCATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: Currently enrolled at an accredited two, four or five-year College or university, pursuing a degree in Computer, Science, Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing or New Media

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Experience with: Adobe (or other similar graphics software), Wordpress, cpanel, Microsoft Word, internet savvy

SKILLS/ABILITIES: - Strong communicator. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Strong team player. - Willingness to learn. - Not afraid to ask questions. - Available to work 10- 20 hours a week during the summer.

QUALIFICATIONS - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Experience using web applications - Design experience and related application (e.g. Photoshop) experience a big plus - Candidates should have experience in media relations and/or online marketing. Well organized, reliable and detail oriented.
