Description:

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is seeking students or recent graduates with a background in marketing and an interest in the non-profit sector who are ready to multi task in an exciting environment. Marketing interns can expect a rapidly changing to-do list, opportunities to take ownership over small, but diverse projects as well as opportunities to work on various events and fundraising campaigns.

Marketing and Promotional interns will assist with the following tasks:
Assisting with monthly newsletter production, including writing articles
Updating calendar listings on related websites
Researching and reaching out to potential partners, sponsors and interest groups
Conducting competitive analysis of other local fundraising programs
Writing, distribution and follow up of press releases to different local press outlets
Assist in creation and/or distribution of promotional flyers and literature
Collection of email addresses during out of office events to help build database
Assist with event operations as needed

Qualifications:

Requirements:
Possess excellent communication skills and ability to understand project goals and produce them in a timely manner
Ability to identify priorities while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Comfortable in a small, growing, dynamic company environment.
Proficiency with MS Office software and ideally some understanding of HTML.
