Description:

Mixed Up Clothing is a newer childrens wear clothing line looking for a design intern specializing in computerized flats, assisting design and pre-production with artwork sizing and line sheets. The candidate should be detail-oriented, able to manage their time efficiently, work great in a team environment as well as independently, have a strong technical background, and well versed in the fashion industry and with textiles. The candidate will be responsible for various tasks around the studio, will assist sales with photos shoots, line prep, and sales calls/emails and work closely with the design team. The right candidate will gain valuable experience in all facets of the design process and with a growing label.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:The qualifications required for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Must have excellent computer skills in Photoshop and Illustrator Graphic design skills are a must
Indesign knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of print and textile design repeat patterns
• Ability to take direction from sales team to create a CAD presentation to solidify an order
• Consistently follows through and is details oriented
• Good organizational skills, energetic, upbeat, and a sense of humor

Hours:

8-10 hours/week

3-6months can lead to a paid position
