Marketing Intern

Description:

The BEC is seeking energetic, motivated students who are eager to learn while carrying out given responsibilities. The Marketing Assistant will help the BEC with its current marketing strategies and develop new and innovative ideas. He or she will work closely with the Operations Coordinator to manage all of the BECs existing marketing mediums and plan creative ways to increase the BECs visibility and engagement with consumers. Some of the responsibilities will include:

- content writing
- social media management
- blog production
- SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques
- research, plan, and execute marketing campaigns

Qualifications:

The Marketing Assistant will work closely with the BEC Team to learn the ins and outs of the Business Event and Meeting Industry. Also, he or she will work hands on to acquire all the necessary knowledge to market an up and coming business seamlessly.
Requirements
- writing skills are a must! Intern must be proficient in grammar, spelling, and other writing conventions
- ability to multi-task, as intern will most likely be working on several projects simultaneously
- knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

You must be able to receive academic credit in order to be considered for this position.
