Want to gain real-world experience in the world of fashion PR? The Dolls at xPose PR are currently seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic, creative, and ambitious interns to start as soon as possible and work through Spring 2012.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is interested in a career in public relations or marketing. Because we are an intimate boutique agency, there is great potential and opportunity for xPose interns. You will NOT be fetching coffee and stuffing envelopes. We will take the time to be sure to supply you with the tools, knowledge, and connections to excel in all aspects of public relations.

This is an unpaid internship and all applicants must apply internship hours for school credit. You must have a laptop and reliable form of transportation.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities (inclusive but not limited to):
- Assist with Editorial and Celebrity pulls, sample trafficking and gifting
- Work with EdCals to put together a Master Calendar of all upcoming feature opportunities
- Be able to research possible blogs, websites, magazines, etc. for press opportunities
- Pitching/Sending out cold leads
- Planning/Assisting/Attending special events (fashion shows, launch events, trunk shows, gifting suites)
- General administrative duties and showroom maintenance
- Press kit development and mailings

Requirements:

- Loves fashion/beauty and has knowledge of the industry
- Must hone creativity into all tasks
- Knowledge and passion for social networking (familiar with Facebook, Wordpress, Twitter etc.)
- Strong computer and data management skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign is a HUGE plus)
- Possesses excellent creative writing skills
- Must multi-task effectively and stay organized
- Self-starter and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude, personable yet professional presence (will you make a good impression at a meeting?)
- Willing to join a team of savvy professionals known as The Dolls of xPose PR!
