Through a direct approach, R2S aims to provide new hope to underprivileged children through the establishment of quality childcare centers. R2Ss centers are designed to promote a higher quality of life through the provision of programs, which focus on Nutrition, Education, Healthcare, and Creative Employment.

Rise2Shine flagship school is located in a rural village of Fond Parisien 30 miles outside the capital of Port au Prince and provides Haitian families with the unique opportunity to eat, learn, work and grow all under one roof. Through the generous support of our donors, we are committed to bringing hope to the millions of suffering children worldwide.

This exciting internship program will provide a qualified candidate the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to run and operate an international non-profit organization through hands on experience of the following:
* Assist company directors with new business development
* Fundraising project (from conception to completion)
* Creating target market lists and correspond accordingly
* Grant research
* Liaise with local and state media/TV stations to increase brand awareness
and highlight issues that are priorities
* Presentations in front of Philanthropic investors, angel investors and
corporate responsibility departments for fund raising purposes
* Presentations at local clubs such as Rotary and Kiwanis
* Must help develop business plan and create budget & forecast system
* Help directors strategize for expansion through sustainable farming program
* Analyze new locations and conduct cost analysis

Qualifications:

* Must have a passion for helping those less fortunate (essential for working
with a non-profit organization)
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Able to develop and implement new marketing strategies
* Confident and capable of expressing ideas to small and large audiences
* Must be experienced in working with a team
* Must have initiative and be able to work individually
* Must have strong understanding and knowledge of Power Point and Excel
* Must be able to conduct basic business analysis for company
